At the Bar with Chef Patron Michael Caines MBE of Lympstone Manor

Cocktails have never been so in demand, and the thirst for a shaken, stirred and strained tipple is only expected to increase over the festive period and into 2018.

This increase is being fueled by the explosion of innovative cocktails made with premium ingredients, which, according to Michael Caines MBE, Chef Patron of Lympstone Manor, are just the mix that customers are after.

So, as one of the hotel’s key soft drink suppliers, we got together with the folk at Lympstone Manor to create a selection of cocktails and mocktails that focus on premium ingredients, hot new trends and some rather interesting garnishes.

We also had some time at the bar with Michael to learn more about the ethos and vision behind Lympstone Manor, his insistence on only ever using the best quality ingredients both behind the bar and in the kitchen, and why his relationship with Frobishers is a ‘mixology’ made in heaven.
